Design and preparation of construction documents for the rehabilitation of an existing, 190 feet, four span, continuous steel beam bridge, built in 1959, over Interstate Route 70 on Banfield Road in Belmont County, Ohio.

Services Provided

RTC was responsible for: deck removal; raising of existing beams; modification of existing piers/abutments; design of new composite reinforced deck; steel retrofit details/concrete patching details; fatigue design analysis on all primary steel beam ; inspection/sounding of existing concrete substructures; plans for all concrete patching/repairs; and design of 600 feet of bridge approach.
