The Rouge River National Wet Weather Demonstration Project (Rouge Project) is a comprehensive watershed- wide program that is providing solutions to other urban watersheds throughout the country on how to restore a polluted urban waterway. Multi-year federal grants (being managed by Wayne County) from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and additional funding from local communities support this cooperative watershed management effort between federal, state, and local agencies.
Services Provided
RTC was responsible for the following Project areas: Drain Information System Phase II; Site Management database; Generation and update of water quality and related maps; Spatial database update/maintenance; Water Quality Statistics; System Administration Manual; and NT server administration. Additionally RTC manipulated, created, and translated GIS base data for use and creation of the following RPO facility maps.
